From 2016 to 2022 I co-led a module in which Product Design students designed 3D printed lamps using generative algorithms. We were pioneering as the first product design degree in the UK to be teaching generative and algorithmic design and Rhino Grasshopper.
The tutors and the students all had a lot of fun learning at the cutting edge of design, here are a few of the brilliant, innovative projects that the students created.
Some years we changed the brief a little and designed Vases or Christmas decorations.
