Motivation Wheelchairs is a wonderful charity, I highly encourage you to watch, David Constantine’s TED talk about how it started. I co-led two live student projects working with Motivation.
The first project was to design and develop products and services to improve the Occupation Health assessment processes for bespoke fitting of wheelchairs in the developing world. This project was one the highlights of my whole teaching career. The students were outstanding and some of their concepts went into production at Motivation.
The second project with Motivation, was to design an innovative 3D printed wheelchair for the developing world. This project resulted in a graduate being employed by Motivation to develop the design in Kenya. Here’s where he took it.
