Teaching: Bloodhound Supersonic Car

I led a student project to design and make a rig to define the cockpit ergonomics for a 1000mph Supersonic Car. The cockpit ergonomics test rig went on to be exhibited at the Design Museum in London and was featured in both national and international media.

On the day of the final crit, I woke up to a 7:30am phone call that there would be 8 media teams in our crit this morning. OMG! That was a fun and amazing day.

One student went on to undertake a year long project which included designing and making the steering wheel for the actual car.
