We had a lot of fun leading this live student project to redesign a first class passenger aircraft interior. There was a real buzz when we unveiled a full scale mock up of the interior of a passenger airline we had built in the design studios for the students to work in.
The student teams started with ideation, sketching and scale models.
A highlights of the project was “Cardboard city”, which made extensive use of full size sketch models to explore concepts and space claims. (Shown in the video’s below).
Final communication made extensive use presentation models and using video for virtual prototyping.
