My first Arduino project. I wanted to learn Arduino and I wanted to take waterdrop photos. It has a laser trip wire, a small delay, and triggers the camera, and then the flash, so that we can take repeatable water drop photos.
The core of the circuit is an optocoupler to protect the Arduino from the flash – some flashes can deliver a high voltage spike.
With thanks to Glacial Wanderer for the blog post that it was based upon.
I look back at this and realise how far I have come.

While the motivation was to be able to create the photos. Once I had, I lost interest. One day I should get back to it as there is so much photography potential using this simple trigger.
